Skills Reintegration Program

Many at-risk youth and survivors of harmful practices, such as FGM victims, face significant barriers to self-sufficiency and reintegration into society. The HealHurt Foundation's Skills Reintegration Program is designed to break these cycles of vulnerability by equipping individuals with practical skills and economic opportunities.

We take a holistic, community-centered approach to reintegration, focusing on education, skill-building, and sustainable economic empowerment.

Vocational Training:

We offer comprehensive courses in various trades, including tailoring, carpentry, agriculture, and small business management. These skills not only provide economic independence but also restore a sense of purpose and self-worth.

Microloans and Business Support:

Financial barriers often prevent individuals from starting their own ventures. Our microloan program provides seed funding and ongoing support to help participants launch and sustain small businesses.

Job Placement Assistance:

We collaborate with local businesses and organizations to connect program graduates with employment opportunities. Our support doesn’t end with training—we ensure each participant has a clear path to financial independence.

Life Skills Development:

In addition to vocational training, we focus on essential life skills such as communication, financial literacy, and leadership. This holistic approach ensures that participants are equipped for long-term success.
